Olsen Park - Northeast Ann Arbor Regional Park in Ann Arbor

Olsen Park Ann Arbor Piperpartners.comOlsen Park, located in Northeast Ann Arbor offers unique experiences for area families.

The 54 acre site (map)features several miles of mountain bike trails developed my area mountain bike users. These trails draw people from all over the southeast Michigan region and connect to a much larger network of trails in the Ann Arbor area.

The park also featues Traver Pond with a paved walking trail, a Pavilion for parties and gatherings, a dog play area were pet owners can allow their dogs to run in an enclosed area, basketball courts, soccer fields and more.

The park receives relatively light but increasing amount of traffic and is a great asset to nearby subdivision residents in Northside Glen Condominiums, Northside Ridge, Dhu Varren on the Park, and Foxfire . Dhu Varren rd. is a very walkable road and allows local residents to easily access the park for an evening stroll. Dhu Varren also has a wide paved shoulder great for bikes and pedrestrians.

The park is also a wetlands and native species preservation demonstration area. You will learn a lot about these items through the informative signage in the park.

Also not to forget, there is a very unique play structure in the park for the kids.

When you have a chance, stop by Olsen Park in Northeast Ann Arbor for a great hiking, biking or play time experience.
