Washteanaw County Forclosed Home Sales Rise in November

Ann Arbor area foreclosures still rising - The sale of foreclosed homes will continue to weigh down the sales price of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area homes as foreclosures continue to increase.

"The number of foreclosed homes sold at sheriff's auction in Washtenaw County rose slightly in November compared to the month earlier, the clerk and register of deeds reported.

134 foreclosed homes were sold at auction in November, up from 129 in October and compared to 107 in November 2007. Year to date, there were 1,366 such foreclosures in the county, already surpassing 2007's full year total of 1,151 foreclosures." More at Mlive.com
