  1. Wonderful to walk or bike to the new Pittsfield Township Hickory Woods Park. They just installed walk/bike paths and a brand new playground with bench seating. Lovely rolling hills, ponds, and open fields great for walking your dog or playing soccer and baseball. Enter from 2 areas on Sycamore Drive in Ashford Village, 1 on Shellbark/Pecan in Village of Hickory Pointe, as well as on Munger Road and Crane Road. The parking lot on Crane Road is under contruction and should be completed soon. Look for more updates in the future like a pavilion, restrooms, informational signs, a second playground with benches, and more. I live in Hickory Pointe, and we love it. Have visited several times already with the kids, visited with neighbors, met new people, and enjoyed seeing people out walking their dogs, biking and playing. See the map at:
