Blimpy Burger "Cheaper Than Food"

Today's your last chance to get Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger! This iconic location in Ann Arbor will close its doors at 8 p.m. for the last time. Their new location is yet to be announced and it may take seven to eight months before the public will find out this information.

Where no two burgers are alike and the onion rings are legendary, Blimpy Burger opened in 1953 and has serviced generations of locals and students for the past 60 years. This small diner with its 1950ish eclectic decor has easily received top scores in food and service from such notable people as Food Networks' Guy Fieri, 'Man vs. Food' host Adam Richman, and most importantly the Ann Arbor community.

While you still have time, go for your last burger, and go all out! While your body may not thank you for it immediately, you will have an experience of a lifetime. Remember the diner accepts cash only. If you forgot, there is an ATM on location. Also, you expect at least a two hour wait that will be well worth it.

There are few places left where kids can experience the food and atmosphere their grandparents enjoyed as teenagers or young adults. This is one of them. Rather than describing the experience one can have here, we would love to hear about your most memorable stories of Krazy Jim, the Magners, staff, and the iconic Blimpy Burger.
